Arizona Deaf Expo?
There is a Deaf Expo on 15 March. Many deaf people and sign the students come here to see vendors interact and discuss deaf, etc. Sign I'ma student, I did ASL for two semesters, but I live in a small community where there is little interaction with the deaf. I have a friend who is deaf, but she lives far away. I am a good sign, and I know enough for basic conversation, but I'm still the neurologic signs with a deaf person. No know why, but it seems to freeze. I have really wanted to go, however. Should I go with my ASL class? My instructor, a coda (hearing children of deaf parents) remember says that deaf people are the experts of the ASL, not you. This is what scares me, though! I do not want to spoil! My instructor tells me I am a native ASL, but I da neurological around deaf. What should I do?
You should not be nervous. The man, the deaf, as we all do. sense of humor, even. Want to know something very impressive, eh? deaf person, I am. E-mail any questions you can. Hmmmmmm.
